Funnel metrics to monitor
Conversion Rates by Stage: Deviation from historical standards. If the conversion rate at the "Demo → Proposal" stage dropped from 60% to 35% in a month, what changed?
Deal Velocity: Average time for each stage. Slowdowns in specific stages = problem.
Deal Aging: deals “stuck” in one status longer than normal (no activity >N days).
Revenue at Risk: trades with high value and low probability or problematic signals.
Pipeline Coverage: The ratio of the pipeline to the planned closure. Less than 3x indicates a risk of underperformance.
Anomalies and alerts
Machine learning-based anomaly detection (Isolation Forest) based on funnel metrics. Deviations from the norm → manager alerts + AI analysis of possible causes.
Specific alert: "5 deals stuck in the Proposal stage for >30 days. The historical average is 14 days. Recommendation: check the price offer; a block at the financial approval level is possible."
